MAGNETIC EDGE

The invisible guides the primordial as the fire has its way with the earth, the wind has its way with the fire. To know truth, one needs to meet its edge. Crawl to the periphery, dance with the elements, surrender to the interplay of transfiguration, and return to center.

The transformative fire is coarsing through the collective landscape. Whether we see it or not, we can feel it. Allowing chaos to move beneath our very feet requires trust. We should seek to understand the fires gift so we can move with it. What happens when fire and ice meet? Within the mutual space, where the multiple see face to face, transformation gestates. Sometimes smoldering, sometimes blazing but what we know for sure is that after the passage of the flames, the foundation will irreversibly be changed.

In the center the common-soul remains at rest. On the edge one has the best view. The edge and the center are irresistibly drawn to each other. Whenever we our moved off our center, or even when we feel its itch, we begin to experience a world of contrast. The outer wants to meet the inner, the extremes pull on each others sleeves. First, there may be a clash of energies. Having no other choice, they immediately reveal their differences. Suddenly standing in the midst of multiplicity, we see ourselves and the other in a way of defined contrast. We move into hyper-awareness, activating our cellular memory to absorb this new territory. Watering eyes, increased heart rate, infusion of energy to explore and seek. This attraction to destabilization serves to release stagnation. Breathe into the edge and sink a little deeper here we will find expansion.

Truly, our essence is boundless but as we have incarnated in this physical reality our edges bring definition. Within the kingdom of contrast we can learn about our own edges and all of lifes edges. Every alchemical collision that comes on our path or that we seek to step towards provides us with a particular wisdom unique to its nature. Through absorption, contemplation and integration, we will bring the edge to the center and the center to the edge.

“Prescribed burns are an important tool for maintaining habitats in the Ocala National Forest. Burning our flammable habitats on a regular schedule reduces the threat of wildfires, removes dense understory build-up, and improves wildlife habitat. Frequent fires are necessary for regeneration of certain plant species.”
